bezogen auf Melanie At Carnegie Hall, 2xLP, NRS The recording is fine, but it's a pretty uninspired set. During some of the songs it sounds like she was just prodded awake and started strumming, trying to remember the lyrics through a sleepy haze.

Melanie was obviously excited about performing at the legendary Carnegie Hall. That excitement was reflected in her delivery and the audience response. This live album, for the most part, is dull. The stand outs are: The Actress, Lay Your Hands Across the Six Strings and It's Me Again (if you can forgive the horrible guitar solo)/5(11).

Melanie's first live album, Leftover Wine, was quite good. Melanie was obviously excited about performing at the legendary Carnegie Hall. That excitement was reflected in her delivery and the audience response. This live album, for the most part, is dull/5(11).
