Her self-titled debut fell together by happenstance, as enough songs were completed for a full release, while ’s On Your Own Love Again was deliberately written and recorded at home, in Los Angeles and San Francisco, over the previous two .

 · The album's strongest track is the eerie love song "I've Got a Feeling." The uneasy guitar riff that opens the piece gives way to expertly layered harmonies as well as some gorgeous piano textures. Compositionally, the chorus impresses by switching from minor its parallel major key. Also notable is "Back, Baby," an aching song about a break-up/5(24).
